A huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined Where Water Meets Land over the past week. šŸ’™ Your support has made every late night, every hour spent editing videos, and every moment wrestling with editing software completely worth it! šŸ˜‚

I feel so honoured that youā€™ve chosen to learn landscapes with me, and Iā€™m truly humbled that youā€™ve placed your trust in me to be part of your creative journey.

Happy Winter Solstice to all my fellow Southern Hemisphere friends. ā„ļøāœØ

From today, the days slowly begin to grow longer as we gently make our way out of the darkness. To mark this special turning point of the year, we hiked to our local waterfall and spent some quiet time in nature.

Many of you know that winter is a season I often find challenging. But this year feels different. Since immersing myself in painting landscapes for Where Water Meets Land, Iā€™ve noticed a lightness I havenā€™t felt before.

Thereā€™s something deeply healing about observing the land through the seasonsā€”accepting nature exactly as it is instead of resisting it. The landscape doesnā€™t fight winter. It simply embraces it. And perhaps thereā€™s a lesson in that for us too.
