Erindale Theatre was officially opened on June 24th, 1979. Erindale Theatre is extremely flexible when it comes to catering for any local community group to large professional theatrical productions. The venue can provide seating for up to 443 guests and is completely disabled-access friendly. The venue is equipped with a fully operational fly tower system for professional looking set changes - on
e of only three systems in Canberra - new and high quality lighting and audio equipment as well as a large screen audio-visual system. Other facilities include a foyer bar, spacious rooms and an orchestra pit with advanced acoustic designing for the best quality sound. The Erindale Theatre is a very community oriented place that welcomes any patrons and clients that may pass through out doors. From End of Year dance concerts to large-scale Productions, Erindale Theatre will gladly accommodate for almost any function.
