This week was our last week of classes at Wandong Dance. Unfortunately, classes will no longer be running as of 2024 as I will be taking the time to focus on study.
It has been such a wonderful week to finish off on! I hope everyone enjoyed our Presentation Day classes. I am beyond proud of all of our dancers, it was so wonderful to see them excited about their costumes and to enjoy showing off their medals, and of course to see them perform in front of a little audience. I hope they enjoyed the experience and are feeling very proud of themselves.
Whether you have been with me from the start, or have only joined this term, I wanted to thank you for entrusting me with your beautiful children to explore the world of dance. I could not have asked for a better group of people to join our little community and sincerely thank you for your support.
Although it was never my intention to run these classes for such a short time, one of my aims of these programs was to introduce young children to dance in a warm, gentle and supportive environment which will build their confidence and act as a stepping stone to perhaps moving onto a traditional dance school once they feel ready. I hope that I have been able to provide that foundation and self belief for them all so that they can feel confident and ready to take the next step in their dance journey.
Lastly, thank you so much for all of the beautiful messages, cards and presents, I am definitely feeling very spoilt and truly appreciate reading your lovely words and feedback.
