It’s not everyday you make the news, but this year for Shannon and her team it has been both bad news and good news with the fire destroying their beautiful studio earlier in the year, they lost everything in the fire except for their passion, resilience and love for dance. But they weren’t going to let it hold them back!! And it’s safe to say they finished the year on a high when they hit the stage at the Athenium Theatre Junee for their end of year production of Rewrite the stars, the students and the team left everything on the stage showing just how powerful the love of dance at So Dance Junee truly is!!

This year marks 10 years of So Dance Junee and we are so proud to say that in ten years we have only missed one performance! We love working with Shannon and the team they are one big family and every year they make us feel like we are part of the family. So to Shannon and the team Thank You.

This year we wanted to make it something to be remembered so we went all out with full audio, lighting and SFX production to mark the occasion and their triumphant return to stage for the greatest show in Junee.

🔥🤩 THE GREATEST SHOW IN ! After a year of heartbreak and hard work, So Dance Junee has risen from the ashes with a breathtaking end-of-year showcase at the Athenium Theatre Junee 💃✨

This year’s production marked an especially poignant milestone for the Junee dance studio, which lost its long-time Lisgar Street home to a devastating fire in February.

Yet on Saturday, under sweeping stage drapes and dramatic lighting, there was no sign of setback 🔥💪

Recently we got all Fired Up with the squad at Venom Allstars Cheerleading for their first ever mid-year display in their new home! From start to finish everyone shined like diamonds and the kids loved showing off some pretty back bending skills. Check out some of these great shots captured by the ever-brilliant Brigette Gollasch Photography who always seems to get your best side.

We setup a simple but effective lighting setup with the aim to maximize impact without encroaching into the performance space.

Shannon and the team at So Dance Junee have been with Creative for over 10 years now, so they are definitely part of the family and our lovely Junee family has lost their home in a fire on Monday. They lost costumes, equipment, props and a place of many precious memories.

For many years we have watched as they brought smiles and laughs to the Junee community whether it be their dances concerts, the Cabaret shows or dancing at local community events, they have been a vibrant light in the community.

Let’s repay the favour of a smile and help them rebuild their home and get back on the dance floor to bring a smile back to their faces.

Last Year we supplied full production for So Dance Junee end of year display. This year we opted to unbox our new Event lighting beam fixtures and they performed beautifully just like the dancers they lit up. So Dance Junee Cabaret 2023!!

This year So Dance Junee presented their end of year concert “Shining Stars” it was yet again another excellent performance by all! We would like to thanks Miss Shannon for having us back yet again for 2022 and we look forward to what 2023 has to bring with So Dance Junee and the team. 😃

We would like to thank the team at Mina's Dance Academy for having us back again for 2022 to make their concert 🎶 💃🏻 another one to remember. After being postponed for two years we finally got there, So Dance Junee presented Scandal at Les Chats Noir Cabaret. We provided sound and lighting for the production, check out some of these great shots taken by Struan Timms Photography from the night, for more check out his Facebook.

(Update Time) So obviously over the past year all most all events were either cancelled or postponed but luckily enough at the end of last year we were able to brush of the proverbial cobwebs and jump straight back into dance season 2021 with So Dance Junee’s performance of Elements in the always stunning Athenium Theatre Junee. We had a great time as always and look forward to more this year, we provided and operated all sound and lighting for the two shows.
