And I’m not sure who was more excited… Charlotte or us 😂💛

Charlotte is one of our gorgeous after-school young artists, and after coming along to our Slime Class today, she decided she clearly hadn’t had enough creativity for one day and bought herself one of our Little Makers Club craft boxes to take home.

AND GUESS WHAT WAS HIDING INSIDE?!

LESS THAN A WEEK TO GO! 🌸🎨☕️

And honestly, painting flowers with ridiculously thick, delicious paint while eating morning tea sounds like a pretty excellent way to spend a Saturday. 😂

Our Impasto Floral Art & Morning Tea Workshop is happening next Saturday 3 October and it’s perfect if you’ve been wanting to have a go at painting but keep telling yourself you’re “not artistic”.

We disagree. Come anyway. 😂

There are a few things I know about Rebecca Hutchinson.

She likes almond milk in her latte. ☕️
She is currently training to run a half marathon… which already makes me tired just thinking about it. 🏃‍♀️😂
And she quite often paints under the watchful eye of Spike… her resident frill-neck lizard. 🦎

But I also know what she’s been working on for Sydney Affordable Art Fair and… OH MY GOODNESS.

Rebecca’s new collection is inspired by the nostalgia of Australian country summers — backyard cricket, footy, bicycles, ice poles, dusty paddocks, long hot days and those little moments from childhood that somehow stick with you forever.

And of course, in true Rebecca style, there are those beautiful playful pops of pink. 💕

BUT… there are also some VERY nostalgic little surprise details hiding in these paintings and I am absolutely not giving them away yet.

This will be Rebecca’s third Affordable Art Fair with yellowhouseart, and I cannot wait for everyone to see what she has created this time.

Rebecca will be joining us at Affordable Art Fair Sydney this November with her brand-new collection.
