Established for over 36 years, Mina's Dance Academy (MDA) is the only studio in Wagga Wagga NSW that provides all styles of dancing for all ages. With a strong dedication to dance, this full time, fully equipped dance studio takes pride in catering to the individual, whether it be for social or competitive dancing, bridal couples or school classes. Our logo has been very thought out 💭

The name and colours; a combination of our MDA and RDA legacy. 🩰💃

The star ⭐️ -reach for the stars, anything is achievable “team work makes the dream work”

RDC in memory of Monique’s father and the initials of the original competition he and Mina ran to bring interstate competitors and opportunity to the Riverina! 🙏💫

Happy Holidays to all of our lovely MDA students and families!

We are so proud of each of our students and the welcoming, family environment in which we dance.

A friendly reminder to all MDA families to please fill in the survey we sent last week by tomorrow, so we can continue to provide all the classes you love and get our 2023 timetable finalised. If for some reason you haven't received your survey via email please send us a message so we can forward the link. A huge thank you to everyone who has done it so far 🙏

A massive congratulations to Connor and Ruby, who not only danced their way out of rounds to make the Youth C grade NV final but also took out bronze 🥉 in the country and first in the state!

We couldn't be prouder of you both; Ruby only recently entering the ballroom world after years of Jazz. A fabulous result among quality competition

A huge congratulations to Reece and Imogen who danced their way through rounds to make both their Adult C grade Ballroom and New Vogue finals! A huge achievement in itself to make the top 6 in a National field.

Not only did they make their finals but they walked away as Adult C grade New Vogue Australian Champions in a quality field ! We couldn't be prouder of you both!!

Day 2 of the Australians was a success! These three Junior dancers did themselves and the studio so proud. Their first interstate national competition in Junior and they not only made their finals but walked away with podium finishes.

A massive jump in the level of competition. The growth these three have had leading into the competition is remarkable! 🤩

Jordan, Maggie and Sophia you should be so proud ⭐️ A huge thank you to Connor, Imogen and Reece for partnering ❤️

DAY 1

A huge congratulations to Mollie (partnered by Reece) who competed in the Under 21 Recreational Follow. Not only did she make all 3 of her finals but she also danced away as Australian Champion of the Rec Follow NV 🏆 and placed 3rd and 5th in the Latin and Standard!!

So proud of you Molly at your first Australians against national competitors ❤️

After a fabulous concert last weekend, we are excited to present 8 unique soloists at their solo showcase this weekend. 🪩

Starting at 10am at the Victory Memorial Gardens. Come and watch our MDA soloists take the stage. 🎭

Wristbands are to be purchased from the studio before the day, with limited available at the gardens.

$15 Adults, $10 Concession, $10 Children (12yrs and under) and children under 3 for free. 🎫

Tickets also allow access into Riverina Dance Academy's Christmas in the Park at 2pm, followed by live music and free face pacing. 🎄

It will be a very fun and relaxed day of performance! Please get in quick and pre purchase wrist bands so the day runs smoothly! ❤️

Please remember to bring your water bottle and snacks. You are invited to bring a blanket and/or chair to sit on, a picnic to eat and non-alcoholic drinks to keep you hydrated on this sunny afternoon. (Please note, the Council requests that we bring chairs that don't sink into the lawn so that the lawns are kept looking beautiful, - please bring chairs that don't spike into the ground).
