I’ve been busy creating once again, but I’ve put down the paint brush and pencils for the moment and have made my loved ones some quilts. It’s been a soothing process and I’ve enjoyed every minute 🥰 The first one is a Liberty quilt and the next three are made from flannel.

I had the greatest pleasure to attend Karen Walsh’s ‘Layers in Landscape’ artist talk and exhibition this morning. What an amazing artist and lady! Hi everyone! I’ve been on a hiatus from posting for a few months while I’ve been enjoying time my clan. I’ve also grabbed some time to experiment with oil painting technique while creating some artwork for loved ones...
AND on top of that, I’ve started studying again! I’ve begun at Billy Blue studying Interior Design and Decoration. I’m absolutely loving it and it’s pushing my creative brain around in ways I’ve never experienced!
As the ‘bower bird’ in my family I’ve spent years collecting objects that I’ve found appealing for a variety of reasons and now I’m drawing inspiration of these little things to try to create new designs. (I’m also the one in my clan to get sidetracked while walking along just to study veins and colours of a leaf or to take photos of shadow patterns)!
