We are a group of people with a passion for Celtic and various forms of acoustic global folk styles of music. Catering for all types of acoustic instruments
( sorry, no electrics ) we welcome one and all to come to our venue on the 1st Sunday of each month to perform whatever folk song, or tune you wish to play. Jigs, Reels, Sea Shanties, Polkas and Ballads.....It's all there! Don't worry if you
don't play an instrument because you can simply join in and sing along anyway. Perhaps you can recite some poetry! Everyone gets a fair go in our impromptu, friendly and non bias atmosphere.....no superstars :-)
Our hosts, THE HOTEL CROWN are extremely supportive of our endeavours and welcome one and all. From time to time, we conduct concerts and feature a special guest artist. Raffles take place on each of the Sunday sessions or concerts as are a few complimentary platters of "goodies" for all music participants to share. We thank and acknowledge Jacki and AnnaMarie and ALL the staff for having us at THE CROWN and look forward to a long association with you.
