Here we provide a vast range of services from our world class recording studio facility. Formally known as Luna Audio, it's a great space to let your creativity flow! The studio has a great history as one of the premier spots in south east Queensland, built from the ground up to make you sound your best. Acoustically treated and fully floated live recording and rehearsal rooms, a Iso booth and eng

ineering room decked out with a Trident Series analogue & Midas Pro Digital console. The studio provides tracking, mixing & mastering facilities with engineers supplied or as dry hire,
from as little as $100 an hour with engineer or a full day for $600 including engineer. The rehearsal spaces are available in the same world class studio rooms from just $60 for 3 hours or $80 for 4 hours. 7 days a week. Our production department supplies sound and lighting services to the Gold Coast / Brisbane with systems from Point Source EAW / EV systems to full outdoor line array systems and Midas Digital Consoles, with stunning visual lighting effects including moving heads, leds, profiles & laser. We can provide full sound and lighting services from as little as $600 a night. Our Hire department has everything needed for your next event at out of this world prices. Qsound also provides a Green Screen Studio space and 4k Cinematography Services & Post Production both Audio & Visual.

Last week was another busy week around the studio with our talented staff engineer Michael Campbell tracking Drums in Studio A, head Engineer Scott doing remote connection vocal sessions to Tarpan Studios in LA where the legendary Narada Michael Walden was producing the track (57 #1 hits!) and Elevate music Academy filming the launch Video for their brand in Studio A control room.

But let’s not forget studio B was also a hive of activity. Rehearsals every night and Head engineer Scott had some late night Tracking sessions down in B also, the graveyard shift from 11pm till 4am.

This week is shaping up to be a big week also,
With the Team from PM records in both studios for 3 days of Tracking and Mixing, Head engineer Scott mixing 3 independent records and even some songwriting sessions and more rehearsals.

Our studio really is a hub for music on the Gold Coast.

Last week was a busy week in Studio A, it was a absolute pleasure having Forester Savell at the helm, tracking some amazing songs for I built the sky! Everything from luscious Acoustic guitars to Violin, Cello and Viola.

Session 1 of 3 in both studios today just before we close tomorrow for Xmas. The usual pre Christmas rush. 🎄 🎅 I must admit, I love the office 😉.

A huge Thank you to all those who made 2021 a sensational year. It’s an absolute pleasure to be trusted to produce your work. A wise man once said “working in music is a privilege not a right and We aim to continuously earn that privilege everytime we step through the doors at qsound”

Come check us out. 2 world class recording studios in one location. Real commercial studios with vibes reminiscent of the Great temples of sound, like Can am, Sunset sound, ocean way. Qsound is the home of music on the Gold Coast.

Word from management effective immediately.

After excessive damages sustained to the studios over the last 2 weeks (see some pictures attached) Damages that extended beyond “normal wear and tear” (gouges in several floor panels of our live rooms, gouges and dents of several cm’s deep in walls, extra cleaning services from cleaning of alcohol spills from walls, floors and studio baffles and even having to tell clients about not smoking / va**ng on the premises. Even having to remind bands to not leave the front door fully open and unlocked.
Including sadly the theft of several cables and 2 microphones.

Effective today we are instigating a new policy.

Thus is a last resort before canceling all rehearsals (that would not be fair on many bands who respect our spaces and whom we love seeing) but I cannot financially continue to suffer these incidents.

From now on all studio rooms will be inspected after the client has left. Any damages beyond reasonable wear and tear will be paid for by the client. A minimum charge of $100 will be charged for all repairs, but costs will rise from there to cover the full cost of the repair involved. (This can be costly, if in the case of severe wall or floor damage, we have to repair and repaint an entire wall or replace a section of flooring)

Spills of alcohol on walls etc will be charged a minimum cleaning fee of $50.

We ask that all clients please respect the law and refrain from smoking and va**ng on or near the entrance to the premises, not only is this against the law, it’s damaging to our equipment and our staff‘s health and well being.

We hate to put a downer on the creative space that we love so much, but this is to ensure this space can continue to remain for years to come, this was not an easy decision to make but a necessary one.
