~ PACKAGING ~

I know....I'm about to bore you 😂

I love making beautifully wrapped packages for you all. Something that is important to me is making my footprint lighter on this earth too.

With your little packaged pieces this is what I do to make a small but conscious effort to imprint lighter;

- I re-use wrapping paper where possible and sometimes fabrics that can then be repurposed further if your a bit crafty. I encourage you to even re-use the wrapping.

- I use biodegradable tape.

- I use pieces from the garden to make it purrrrrrety.

- & I use my scraps to tie it all together.

It may not seem huge but alot of thought and time goes into the wrapping x

Still in awe of how beautiful my chandelier looks with working her magic. Amazing!

I plan to do a few more of these I think and I may just keep one for myself 🙊

I wasn't going to sell this piece because all I saw was faults but someone else saw something special.

I am super grateful that you all see something in my pieces. It takes more courage than what you think to put myself out there.

Happy Monday handmade lovers!

I'm excited (and yes, I do get excited easily!) to share that I've decided for each piece sold, I will plant a tree.

It might seem tiny in the scheme of things but I believe small changes in our world are so important and collectively add up to make a big difference for our future.

So now I get to use your sales as an excuse for doing good. You can feel pretty darn happy about your purchase and I can too!

So simple but a fave of mine!

I really enjoy embroidery for slow, mindful moments. In fact, anything that I create, I love doing because it brings me into the present moment working with my hands.

I feel as though that I don't have enough time at the moment to squeeze this in too but I WILL be making moments to do it again because I love it!

What do you to incorporate mindful moments in your day?
