🎤 Spoken Word Evenings are returning to The 1812 Theatre!
The stage lights are warming up and the mic is waiting — join us for an evening of poetry, stories, sharing and expression as Spoken Word returns to the bakery at The 1812 Theatre from 26th June.

Whether you’re performing or simply soaking up the words, it’s a night to share, listen, and connect.

Spoken Word will be on at 1812 theatre this Friday evening and unfortunately for its devotees it will for the very last time.
Spoken Word and Music at 1812 will not be going forward into 2024.
Thank you to all those who have supported and attended over the past few years.

We kick off the New Year of Spoken Word @1812 on the evening of the 26th January.
Yes I know that is Australia Day but if you are free to come along then relax with a drink from the bar a few laughs and some wonderful local poetry.

Tonight is the final Spoken Word evening for the year at the 1812 theatre.
Alex will be hosting the evening as I am presently on stage at Lilydale theatre.
There will not be a December Spoken Word and we will kick off the new year 2024 on January 26th.
Come along and join in the fun and local poetry this evening.

Its on again this Friday night; Spoken Word @ 1812 theatre. If you have never attended one of these eclectic evenings when all things spoken are the go then now is the time to remedy this.
Grab a drink from the bar, sit back and relax with all the local talent of poets and actors in 10 minute spots.

This Friday 28th July at Spoken Word @ 1812 theatre we will have a special preview of a scene from the upcoming production "Picnic at Hanging Rock" curtesy of the very talented cast.
We will also reprise the 10 minute play "Cow Patter" from last week's Board Shorts production.
Plus of course a showcase from some of the areas poets.
A very special evening so grab a drink from the bar and/ or a choc-top and sit back and be entertained.
