As some of you may know, that as well as being entertainers we also love our Warwick Sailing Club and this weekend is the first weekend of the new sailing season on Leslie dam.

Our sailboat Goosfraba has had a winter touch up and is ready to go for summer frivolity on the water.

Anyone in the area is invited for a sail and sausage sizzle tomorrow from midday so come say hello.

Next week we are at Bony Mountain Folk Festival so it's been good to have events local for us.

Yeah... suffering for my art... Zac Anthony, one of the talented artists at Back to Basics Music Muster invited me to do a rendition of "Old Man Emu" with him on stage, with the jaw harp. We had a bit of a distraction on stage, which caused me to lose concentration, and I came off stage bleeding as I caught my lip in the reed.

Lol, just one of those incidents you hope no one sees, but it's all part of live music.

As much as is understood about the "need' to post on social media your comings and goings, it's a lot of jumping through hoops to remind people we are actually human, and we do s**t in the REAL world that junkies of the cyber world think is actually representative of human connection.

We had a great experience at the festival/gathering in , so good to see so many people arrive at a country town to support local filmmakers and participate in a local initiative that is wholly and totally Australian in its content and possibilities.

We were delighted to be part of the event, playing our brand of Australiana music that encourages people to remember what is at the essence of the culture we live in.

With today's age of anmnisea of the work and resilience that the colonial forebears undertook to deliver the possibility of a life that was free of the English yoke of power and control, we can only hope that people who hear our music reflect on what makes this country great.

We have connected with Aaron Smith, the piro piper, who is part of the https://www.facebook.com/mouldyhaggis

We met this motley crew at Boondooma Homestead and Festivals Scott's in the bush this year and hope to get a collaboration of radicals to have fun at a
collaboration of music near you.

We hope to share a couple of professional video clips of us at the festival once we receive the footage.

Our next event is at the awesome https://www.facebook.com/groups/bonymountainfolkfestival
just outside Warwick, so we hope to see you there.

Thanks heaps to the new followers of our channel on Facebook; it makes a difference in our ability to apply for spots at festivals and venues.

Sonya is waiting patiently for Cammy's Open Mic session at the beautiful Cambooya Pub.
We have been having a heap of fun and have loved meeting other musically minded folk as we have been playing at various venues since we decided to do a year traveling around to different places after Bony Mountain Folk Festival
We are really looking forward to getting back to Bony Mountain in September, which sort of completes the year.

When we are not at the various music festivals we have been at, we have been playing at some open mic gigs around Toowoomba. Cowboy Craig runs a couple around town, and we had a ball at the Irish Club Hotel open mic.

We have just arrived back in Ktown after 2 weeks away at Back to Basics Music Muster and in the Bush, great events, but the location is a black hole for internet signal, so we have not been able to post much, but meeting the crew from Mouldy Haggis was a lot of fun. We will post a bit more in the coming days.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.
