There truly is something for everybody during Milano Design Week. And yes, it can all get a little conceptual at times… arty, theatrical, entertaining, sometimes even completely unrelatable.

But hidden amongst all that spectacle is also an incredible amount of practical inspiration, smart materials, evolving kitchen technology, colour trends, finishes, lighting ideas and clever solutions that genuinely influence the homes we live in.

Using ceiling fans in winter helps circulate the air 🔁 bringing the warmth that naturally rises to the ceiling ⬇️ back down where you actually want it.

1) set your ceiling fan to low speed and
2) reverse the direction to avoid the downdraft.

The room will quickly feel warmer and, when used together with your air conditioning, it will help the space reach the set temperature faster, reducing energy use + saving money on your electricity bill 🤩 🤩

Keeler Hardware offers plenty of lock and door hardware options. For this project, I chose a smart lock with both keypad and fingerprint access. We can change the code remotely from anywhere in the world, making it easy for family or guests to access the home when needed.

The fingerprint feature makes everyday use incredibly practical. No keys, no fuss, just easy access in and out of the house.

The installation is easily done, it looks great, and apart from a little paint touch-up, it’s ready to go. And the best part? I didn’t even need my keys to get back inside!
