A couple of my paintings are now available for sale. One was recently on display at the 5 Lands walk Art exhibition and the other is one I have just completed. A little bit of abstract to brighten up your Friday. LOVE pelicans. I can never quite see them as black and white. To me they are colourful characters. This painting is 75cm in height, 100cm in width and 1 cm in depth. It is currently for sale for $250. I have called it "Waiting in line".

When I paint, I paint from the heart. I love looking at the work of other artists but mainly I get my inspiration from the way that shapes and colours jump out at me. I like to present things a little differently. I love creating texture underneath my painting and that slightly rustic feel around the edges but I also like that sense of fun that colour and thinking outside the square can bring. A little bit of organised chaos I suppose! Here's a "larger than life" example of that. I have called it "A summer's night". Hope it brings a little bit of colour into your life too. It's still a work in progress but I thought I would share it with you anyway.

This painting is called "Sails away". I still need to varnish it to give it it's final pop and finish but it has come out quite well in the picture nonetheless. Just a little reminder that I live by the sea!! Feeling very blessed to live in such a wonderful place as Umina Beach. So many things to paint and so little time!!!

I have called this painting "Burst of Spring". I get very distracted at this time of year with the abundance of colour and shapes that surround us. When something catches my eye I just can't wait to depict it in my abstract way. Again, I used a lot of paint to create a more 3 dimensional feel to this painting. Hope you like it!!

I have called this painting "the lure of the lolliops" as my 3 year old thought they looked like lollipops! It's a fun name to depict a light hearted painting but colourful. The texture in this painting ( a little difficult to see in this picture) is created through the use of a lot of paint, impasto and paper mache.
