A totally delightful Saturday afternoon in my studio, even with this frustrating, annoying, unobliging, cantankerous but partly lovely painting on my easel. I finally feel that I'm taking charge, well I hope I am, although she would most likely disagree 😂. But that's just how painting can be.

I've been on a little break down to country Victoria and Melbourne. Now that I'm back I'm working away on getting my five girls out of their ugly stage and into their gorgeousness.

Maybe I need a collective name for this gorgeous group? Any ideas please let me know.

The biggies and the smallies, it's my work in progress wall of girls.

So much to do but my studio is soooo hot, for me and the paint is just during on my palette in minutes, so not getting as much done in the past few days as I'd like ... it's annoying me. Perhaps I should be more committed, but if I'm really uncomfortable I don't work well. I'm thinking of getting up at 4am to paint, maybe that's a good idea ... hmmm.
