The Melbourne International Jazz Festival kicks off this weekend and Sounds Australia is proud to once again partner with the event to host a contemporary jazz music trade delegation.

On Wednesday October 21 at Spiegel Haus Melbourne, we’ll be hosting our second annual Melbourne International Jazz Meet-Up. Catch up with fellow musicians and practitioners from around Australia, as well as meet the delegation of international festival programmers in the city for the festival.

Australia House returns to this month (21–25 October), the world’s largest electronic music conference, with support from and the .

Dance music has become one of Australia’s biggest cultural exports, with Australian music exports generating over an estimated AU $1 billion in 2024-25 (Music Australia, Bass Line report, 2nd edition).

Back for a third consecutive year, Australia House returns to in the heart of the Jordaan, Amsterdam. Expanding from two days to three, it will run across Wednesday 21st, Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd October, serving as the meeting hub for the Australian and global industry in town for ADE, bringing together influential players and trailblazers from around the world.

Each morning opens with curated networking events. From there, Australia House becomes a hub for the industry to hold meetings and connect throughout the day and into the evening, with complimentary Aussie barista coffee.

Meeting spaces are open to everyone and can be booked between 12:30pm and 9:30pm, Wednesday 21st to Friday 23rd October. Hit the link in our bio and head to our Amsterdam Dance Event page to book.

As the gateway for international industry to connect with artists and innovators, ADE will once again serve as a platform for Sounds Australia to support Australian talent on a global stage.
