Closed the door for the last time tonight .... 'twas a bit sad, seeing the room totally empty of our vibrant colour. Yet I'm now resting and waiting to see where my next Opening Door, will lead me ???

Today a group of women from Byron Info Centre were being shown our community hall, by Solar, from Flutterbies Cafe, ..... they came in briefly, and I explained the half empty shop, with display outside the front door, while I did a bit of photo shoot for my Etsy Shop, ..... two of them expressed that they found the 'energy' inside hall was very weird, dark, strange, made them want to get out quick, needs clearing, smelt strange.......

It has been great these past three and a half years, contributing to the village, even if many locals ignored us, we brightened the days of so many visitors, who were surprised to find such a unique gallery hidden away in sleepy Tyalgum (Djalgum, as it should be pronounced).
Now the wider world is calling me again ..... I hear you...... MeggaYarnz will again embrace ArtNomadix ..... and travell the land yet again .......!!!

Well here we are into our last week here in Tyalgum Hall's old Card Room. They tell us they need this room to hold meetings in, despite there being two rooms upstairs they could use. We went along to their last meeting, and showed our sadness at their descision, they relented on the final date, allowing us to vacate on the 31st.
So we will be open for the last weekend, with the local Tyalgum Village Market being held on Saturday 28th, the busiest day of village's month !
Hope to see you before we close the doors for the last time on Tuesday 31st.
I'll prolly use the vacating space for a new photo shoot for my future online sales, while I wait on the various artists colle ting their wonderful works of art
Thank you to everyone who has supported local artists

We are being evicted ! The reason being given, does not seem true. They have said they want the room to revert back to a public meeting room, which it hasn't been for many years. There are oher spaces that could easily be used for meetings, so we don' t understand.
So if you've always been meaning to come and see our unusual gallery shop, then please do so before the end of March. They hav said we must be out by the COB Friday 27th March. The next day is the Tyalgum Village Market on the last Saturday of the month. I don't understand why we are not allowed to finish the month, so I am going to disregard their threat that if we do't take everything out by 27th, they will be removed (confiscated-stolen?) How rude can they be ? We have been good tenant for 3 years ....... Hope to see you in before we close.

Apologies for Viridian Gallery not being open our usual 7 days a week. Two of our 4 volunteer gallery staff, are temporarily living on the corner of No Fracking Way and Butterfly Close in the Pop-up Village of Bentleyville, where we are Protecting Our Waters and land from Metgasco Mining company, who want to drill down 2kms into the Tight Sands-tone to test by Fracking, whether there is enough gas to make a Gas Field !
Bentleyville is a 100% Gas Field Free Community!

Ring 0499 851 160 to find out if we are open, or just take pot luck.
