A very fine pair of antique chairs in the Thomas Chippendale manner, these elegant armchairs embody the enduring sophistication of 18th-century design. Crafted in rich mahogany, each chair features a finely carved and pierced back splat adorned with scrolling foliage and acanthus leaf motifs, framed by a graceful serpentine top rail. The robust frames rest on cabriole front legs, terminating in delicately carved feet that enhance their sculptural quality. On sale, this magnificent antique French Louis XV Revival giltwood and golden onyx-topped console table has a superb mirror of exquisite decoration. The console has a richly carved apron of flowers and rocaille on cabriole legs ending in scroll feet with an intricate, foliate stretcher. Both pieces are gilt with gesso over hand-carved wood. The sumptuous console & mirror would look gorgeous in an entrance hall, drawing room or dining room adding real French glamour. The console: 150cm wide x 94cm high. Mirror: 140cm wide x 183cm high. Very elegant French Louis XVI Revival oval-shaped walnut marquetry small table or chest with beautiful inlays of flowers in kingwood and satinwood with gilt ormolu mounts. The petite chest sits on slim cabriole legs finished with ormolu feet and features two useful drawers. Both the top and sides are decorated with charming marquetry foliate motifs. As pretty as it is functional, the piece would be perfect as a wine, lamp, occasional, bedside or hall table. In excellent condition, the table has been waxed and polished and is ready to go into your home.

This beautiful French Art Deco cast bronze sculpture stands at a striking 67cm tall. Signed by artist Jean-Pierre Morante, the dancing girl with her dynamic pose and gorgeous headpiece that is exquisitely depicted captures the essence of the Art Deco aesthetic.
