Thanks to Leon Rebello MP, Laura Ge**er MP and Cr Gail O’niell - Division 14! for engaging with your constitutes!
It was with great pleasure that we confirm

City of Gold Coast Council will work with the residents of the southern Gold Coast to rehabilitate the Tugun Quarry to retain and enhance existing native vegetation to such a condition that it becomes suitable as a regionally significant environmental park in keeping with its zoning as public open space.
It's it is indeed wonderful to see what can happen when community and community groups band together united for an important cause.
