🍾 introducing our dj comp winners 🍾
Taking out first place is Kwanee a Seoul-born DJ who spent years immersed in the energy of city life before moving to the Gold Coast three months ago. His mix is an education on trippy leftfield sounds, merging genres of house to electro and techno that invites listeners to get lost in the music and discover something.
In a close second place was Leon Vinaev an upcoming Sunshine Coast based dj that confidently showcases warm, groovey house flavours to start the mix before he shifts into a different gear that would no doubt get a dance floor properly wiggling !
Massive shout out to all the applicants, the level of quality mixes we received is madness and really hyped us up, we have something else in stall for some of the crew who just missed out on the podium finish which we will announce soon enough.
We’ve also put both mixes up on our website for everyone to check out so go and enjoy :))
