The cast of Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical headed to the main stage of The Art House, Wyong, for the very first time…of course in their own unique style!
There was excitement.
There were nerves.
And thankfully, there were no confirmed cases of the Cheese Touch on the journey.
From Greg's quest for popularity to Rowley’s endless optimism, Patty’s determination, Fregley’s... well, Fregley-ness, this talented cast is bringing Jeff Kinney’s iconic characters to life in a show packed with laughs, heart, and middle-school mayhem.

In 2004, Wyong Musical Theatre Company presented The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and Dames at Sea. From the magical world of Narnia to the charm and energy of a classic musical comedy, it was a year full of imagination and entertainment on the WMTC stage.

🎭 AUDITIONS OPEN – COMPANY 🎭

Wyong Musical Theatre Company is excited to announce auditions for Company, Stephen Sondheim’s Tony Award-winning musical comedy, to be performed at The Art House Studio, Wyong in November 2026.

Directed by acclaimed performer, director and educator Tim Page, Company follows Robert on his 35th birthday as he navigates friendship, relationships, commitment and the complexities of modern life. Featuring Sondheim classics including Being Alive, The Ladies Who Lunch, Another Hundred People and Not Getting Married Today, this sophisticated and witty musical offers a range of outstanding principal roles.

We are seeking talented performers aged 18+ who can bring these memorable characters to life.

The wait is over! Tickets for Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical are officially on sale today!

Based on the best-selling books by Jeff Kinney, this hilarious family musical follows Greg Heffley as he navigates the ups and downs of middle school, friendship, popularity and the dreaded Cheese Touch! 🧀

We’re also excited to introduce the talented young performers bringing Greg, Rowley and Patty to life in our two casts:

🎶 LOVE TO SING? 🎶

Join The Company — Wyong Musical Theatre Company’s welcoming adult choir for ages 18+.

This September, we’ll be performing on the Main Stage at The Art House, Wyong alongside the incredible Sydney Male Choir, joined by our younger performers from Company Jr and Company Nova.

Whether you’re an experienced singer or simply love music and community, The Company is a supportive and encouraging group where friendships are formed and confidence grows through music.
