Latrobe Valley Eisteddfod The Latrobe Valley Eisteddfod is an annual major arts event spanning five and a half weeks in August and September.

Established in 1956, the Latrobe Valley Eisteddfod is a not-for-profit, volunteer-based organisation delivering a multi-disciplinary Performing Arts Festival held annually in Traralgon in August to September It covers a whole range of performing arts disciplines including Theatrical Dancing, Speech and Drama, Vocal and Choral and an Instrumental section that includes Brass, Strings and Piano. More

than $30,000 is offered in prizes each year to competitors who come from all around Victoria. This event is a chance for competitors, regardless of age to come and present their talents in front of a live audience and maintain some constructive feedback from a featured Adjudicator.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO THE PERFORMING ARTS COMMUNITY
Dear LVE Friends, we are reaching out to seek urgent assistance regarding the Piano and Brass Convenor roles.

Due to serious illness Dr Shane Moore is unfortunately unable to continue in the roles.

At this stage, we are seeking expressions of interest from anyone willing to assist, either temporarily or ongoing, to help ensure continuity for this year’s program. Support from existing committee members, past volunteers, or members of the community would be greatly appreciated.
