Edward O'Brien Pottery Handmade Pottery sales & Pottery lessons I have been working with clay since 2006. I also enjoy producing sculptural pieces.

I am a pottery artist and teacher residing in the beautiful city of Townsville, located in tropical North Queensland, Australia. I enjoy all aspects of pottery creation, from recycling clay, to throwing, turning, decorating, glaze making and glazing, and firing. I especially look forward to opening the kiln after a firing to see the finished products. I specialize in functional ware, including mug

s, tumblers, bowls, platters, lidded vessels, mosquito coil holders, and casserole dishes. I sell my pottery at the Renegade Handmade Gift Shop, and The Drill Hall Studio, both located in Townsville, or you can contact me directly. I also teach pottery which I enjoy immensely. In my classes, the emphasis is on having FUN while learning a new creative skill. Come along and have fun while learning to play with clay! Classes are held at the North Queensland Potters Association studio, 15 Flowers Street, Railway Estate. Class times are Wednesday evenings 6-9pm & Saturday afternoons 2-5pm.
