🎨 COMMUNITY WORKING BEE – BBQ INCLUDED! 🌭

Help us get CircUP Youth Arts ready for Term 3!

We’re doing a big spring clean of the circus space, including painting, cleaning, wiping over equipment, vacuuming, sorting the costume room, tidying upstairs, and giving the whole space a fresh once-over.

Come for an hour, come for the day, bring a friend or family member — every helping hand makes a difference.

And yes… BBQ included! ❤️

The CircUP Arts Kids Fest timetable has now been updated to show the correct session times — including the amazing 🎭 Circus Revolt! circus performance by CircUP Arts, happening in the Amphitheatre at 9.30am on Saturday 13 June!

Bring the kids along for a weekend packed with creativity, colour, music and circus fun at the 2026 Townsville Folk Festival 🌈🎨🎶

🎉 Play On! Sports Vouchers are now open!

Have you submitted your active Play On! Sports Voucher yet?

You can use your voucher towards your current or next term fees at CircUP Youth Arts.

📅 Key Dates
✅ 29 January 2026 — Round 2 opened
⏰ 12 June 2026 — Round 2 applications close, unless exhausted earlier
🚨 19 June 2026 — Final date to present vouchers to an activity provider

Every Queensland child aged 5 to 17 is eligible for one voucher per financial year.

Please note: If your child received a Play On! Sports Voucher in Round 1, they are not eligible for this round.

Make sure you send your voucher through before 19 June 2026 so we can apply it in time.

Volunteer Opportunity – Management Committee of Circup Youth Arts Inc. 🎪

CircUP Youth Arts Inc. is seeking a passionate and experienced arts professional to join our Management Committee as our Original Representative Member – Arts.

This is a volunteer voting role helping guide the future of youth arts, circus, creativity, and community connection in North Queensland.

We meet 4 times per year, and applicants must be able to demonstrate:

✅ Current professional experience working in the arts in Townsville
✅ Strong connection to the local arts community
✅ Leadership experience within community arts projects, programs, or organisations
✅ Passion for youth, creativity, inclusion, and community engagement
✅ Willingness to contribute to governance and strategic direction

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of CircUP Youth Arts Inc. and ensure the arts community has a strong voice at the table.

Circo Vetus is a friendly, skill-sharing environment designed for seasoned circus lovers who want to connect and share knowledge. Entry is by expression of interest.

Each week is different depending on who’s in the room and what skills people bring along — tonight’s session focused on acro! 🤸
