Wow! Another Charters Towers Country Music Festival wrapped up—what an incredible weekend! 🎶

Our club was proudly represented by a fantastic group of artists, from seasoned performers to first-time competitors. It was also great to see so many of our members there supporting and cheering everyone on.

A huge congratulations to all our placegetters and those who made it through to the grand final—you did us proud!

More photos will be shared soon, so stay tuned.

Thank you to everyone who was part of such a memorable event. We’re already looking forward to the big 50th celebration in 2027! 🤠

🎶Here's just a little note to wish you all a Happy Birthday🎶

Here's to three chords, a cloud of dust, and the kind of songs they don't play on the radio anymore. Keep your head high and your boots dirty.

Our May magazine done the "Birthday Calendar Shuffle". We picked up the pace- a little too fast.. . Singing with excitement that these birthday's aren't going to celebrate themselves and we scooted straight past May!

Not to worry though, we will two step backwards and grapevine back to May in the next edition 🥰🤠

Every year, Bunnings Warehouse Australia hosts a free Easter Family Night which has been held for 17 years. The event features free DIY craft activities, games, live music, local stallholders, and a sausage sizzle to celebrate the holiday weekend.

This year, we are very thankful as our club had the privilege to be invited to perform at the Fairfield Waters location for this event on Thursday 26th March.

Please join us in thanking our members Peter, Sharon, Ed, Glenda, Dylan and Julie who volunteered their time to represent our club. We appreciate you all!

We were also privileged to have Townsville State High School EQ band members Hannah and Morgan join us for our first half hour set! The Townsville State High School band consisting of Asher, Seth, Morgan, Hannah, Levi, and Lizzie put on a wonderful show, showcasing their talents! Thank you to you all and well done!

This is an opportunity for artists to rehearse a new song with the band.

Please bring along 4 sets of chord charts to share between the band.

This is also an opportunity to play your own instrument alongside other musicians, to gain more skills and confidence!
