✏️✨ WHAT IF DRAWING A FACE WASN’T AS HARD AS YOU THINK? ✨
Portrait drawing can sometimes feel like the ultimate drawing challenge, getting the proportions right, placing the eyes, shaping the nose, capturing the expression… it can all seem a little mysterious!
But this week in Drawing Secrets, we’re breaking it down step by step and making portraits feel much more achievable.
For Week 7: Portrait Drawing, you’ll learn how to construct the head using simple guidelines, confidently place the facial features, and use shading to give the face shape, depth and a lifelike quality.
And you don’t need to be a portrait artist already. We’ll take it one step at a time, so you can concentrate on observing, drawing and discovering what your own eye and hand can actually do. 💛
There’s something so satisfying when those simple lines begin to come together and suddenly… the person on the page starts looking back at you! 👀✨
By the end of the class, you’ll have created a portrait you can genuinely feel proud of, and perhaps a whole new confidence in your ability to draw people.
