🎉 Exciting News! 🎉

After two years in the pipeline, we are thrilled to announce the opening of the Tottenham Skatepark!

Join us tomorrow after school for a fun-filled afternoon as we celebrate this awesome new addition to our town. Bring your boards, roller skates, scooters, and good vibes—everyone is welcome!

A huge congratulations and heartfelt thank you to the dedicated team of parents who worked tirelessly to turn this dream into a reality and our local council who have worked together with us. Your hard work and persistence have paid off, and our community couldn’t be more grateful!

We’re excited to announce work has begun at the skatepark! Watch this space!

We’re really excited to share the latest concept design with the community.
This is the final concept of the Tottenham skatepark to be located at the Tottenham Sport and Rec ground. It’s been an 18 month process of consultation with the community and we thank everyone for their input and feedback. Completion of the skatepark is expected to be the end of June 2025.

🌟🌟🌟 EXCITING NEWS!!! 🌟🌟🌟
In August, our group presented our idea to Lachlan Shire Council. We created a video to share with council to include the voice of our local children and families, along with our previous survey results. We are EXCITED to ANNOUNCE we have gained council and Federal APPROVAL to move forward with this project. We hope you enjoy watching the video and we look forward to letting you know about more opportunities for community consultation and input into the skatepark. Thank you to everyone for your support so far.

🌟🌟 SEEKING SHORT CLIPS TO CREATE OUR PRESENTATION TO COUNCIL 🌟🌟

Our skatepark development group will be presenting our proposal at the next Lachlan Shire Council meeting on the 23rd August. We are hoping to present a short video to assist in our presentation. We are seeking some short videos (approx 10 seconds, they will be edited) from our children and community about how you would feel about a skatepark in Tottenham and how this might contribute to our town. Committee members will be at soccer training today (Wednesday 9th August) to take videos to collate. We will speak with parents at these locations to gain permission first. If you would like your child and/or yourself to be featured and are unable to attend you are able to send your videos to Sally via Facebook messenger or directly to her mobile on 0428407871.

If sending your own 10 second clip, please ensure it is a close up of the person speaking, preferably without any background noise so it can be included in the presentation as clear as possible.
