What an amazing level of skill this 13 year old girl has reached. When she paints something gold, she doesn’t actually use gold paint — she creates the illusion of it through her understanding of colour, value, and light. Great work LK. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This young artist, FL, created a beautiful symbol of a squirrel, carefully drawing them in small squares and sharing them with his fellow young artists. Each student then transformed their piece into a painted work, bringing their own voice and imagination into the process.

This collaboration was something special. Watching individual ideas come together into a shared creation was inspiring.

Everybody contributed something unique, and together they created something far greater than an amazing artwork. Great work FL and all of the young artists in the class—such a beautiful collaboration, full of creativity and friendship.

The artworks are all wonderfully different and unique, like the young artists who painted them. Each child is encouraged to explore their own ideas with guidance but freedom in their choices. Well done, young artists. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is a detail of AB latest painting. The level of skill she is demonstrating at just 13 years old is amazing. Her brushwork is confident, how she handles the tones is very thoughtful and the harmony of colours shows real expertise.

This was a bittersweet day. It was the last day in the studio for three magnificent artists who have been a big part of the Torquay Art Hub since the very beginning.
They have been with us from the day the doors first opened, growing, learning, and gradually refining their skills, always animated by hilarious banter that filled the space with laughter. Watching that journey has been a privilege.
Below each artist is an image of one of her artworks, a small glimpse into the progress, confidence, and voice each of them has developed over time.
Now they are ready to step into their next chapter, carrying everything they have built here with them. Their absence will leave a noticeable gap in the studio.
We are going to miss you, girls. Best wishes on your new venture.
