▪️ANGLESEA - ANGAIR FLOWER SHOW▪️

The ever-popular annual Wildflower and Arts weekend is here!

An impressive display of local wildflowers, including the wonderful knowledgeable volunteers from will be there - highly recommended, we love it! Plus an art exhibition with local artists and creatives.

▪️MAKE CHANGE▪️

Over the next couple months, non-profit organisations will start hosting their AGM (Annual General Meetings), where it gives opportunity for the community to learn more about the organisation.

It also gives an amazing insight to the work they do and wonderful opportunities to become a committee member or volunteer.

On the Surf Coast there’s thousands of volunteers that are vital in the community.

We started volunteering to make meaningful change, in areas we felt helpless (the environment)… and wanted to achieve more.

It makes a huge difference for these groups to have passionate volunteers and you’ll get to meet like-minded, knowledgeable, brilliant people too.

We volunteer, donate and currently support

🍃Currently 2 local organisations will host their AGM this week and next month, proudly hosted by ~ are local organisations & ~ visit their pages for more info.

🌍 We also recommend to visit ~ they have a brilliant list of Australian organisations (https://www.patagonia.com.au/pages/who-we-support) …and frequently host events in Torquay (we just saw .au ~ film screening about Save Scott Reef, amazing!)

September brings an exciting local event, the Wildflower and Art Show, in Anglesea Sep 20-21... highly recommend!

Such a wonderful weekend with passionate locals, photographers, artists and people who just love the local wildflowers and the environment.

▪️CONNECT WITH NATURE▪️

🦎 We never get tired of seeing the wildlife in this region... how lucky are we to have these little blue tongue lizards at our local parks.

We were more impressed that the kiddies at the park knew so much about the species, how old the lizard maybe and were curious about where it maybe living.

Connection with nature, helps us become more conscious of the impact we have on the environment and wildlife.

🎥 Highly recommend to watch the latest film by .gameau, ~ is about a bunch of clever kiddies, travelling around Europe, questioning adult leaders and finding solutions for the environment.
