Who are the TUGgers? TUG is the Toowoomba Ukulele Group; We are a community of ukulele enthusiasts who meet once a fortnight to play and enjoy music. We welcome all ages, skill levels and musical abilities. Please note that children need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. What music do you play? A huge variety - from songs off the top 40 countdown, through to golden oldies, and everything in between. We also love taking requests and trying new stuff, so if you have a favourite song in mind don't hold back! When/where do you meet?
6:30 to 8.30pm on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month. Venue: Dr Price Rooms, Little St, Toowoomba. I think I want to come along to a session. Where do I find details? Most people find they're able to pick it up quite easily in the group situation (yes, even absolute beginners), and there is a vast selection of online resources to help supplement this that we can point you in the right direction for. We'd like to invite TUG to perform at our next event, do you do bookings? Absolutely! We can provide some ukuleles and music for your next function, as a relaxed and interactive performance - we encourage audience participation wherever possible.
