Happy New Year to all. I’m looking forward and hoping for a good one. This oil on linen is titled “ Between the Seasons” painted earlier this year. It measures 50x50cm and is for sale. $600.

I found the reference photo for this Robin on "wildlife images for artists" website. I was drawn to his brightly coloured chest feathers. He's painted in watercolour on Arches cold press paper. 23x31cm. 2020.

While having a break last year I painted some birds. They live in a bottom draw at home where I store watercolour studies and experiments. Some of them will be getting an airing here over the next couple of weeks. The reference photo for this female honeyeater was taken and kindly sent to me by 'Summer Shakespeare' who lives in the Currumbin Vally.

My Husband David has a fish, in a bath-tub, in the yard. We inherited Larry (the fish) from the person who lived here before us. I say it's David's fish because I didn't think it would live very long in that dirty old bath-tub full of murky, muddy water.
