We're excited to share a new exhibition coming up at a very special location

Born out of the red ArtCube residency at Fleet Wines, South Gippsland Shire Council presents BACCHUS

We love shows the stray from the typical gallery space. It gives artists and curators a very unique opportunity to respond to site

Featuring some of our very own BACCHUS is on exhibition at Fleet Wines with an opening celebration on June 6 at 2pm.

Presenting Bacchus, a new exhibition featuring works by four local artists, Fiona Blandford, Jan Learmonth, Sarah Parkes and Ellen Taylor, curated by Jasmin McNeill. Responding to the winemaking process and surrounding landscape of Fleet Wines in Leongatha, each artist has created new works spanning wine painting, photography, flora installations, found object weavings and mixed media sculptures. Where wine is often cast as a signifier of the divine and wealthy, this exhibition insists on its origins in labour, process and impermanence, giving new meaning to Fleet's preoccupation with “capturing those fleeting moments”.

Fleet Wines, Leongatha
June 6 - 8 2026, 11am - 5pm daily
Opening Event: June 6, 2pm

Coal Creek, Korumburra
June 18 - August 24 2026, Thursday - Monday 10am - 4pm

MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATION
Sunday 10 May, 10am-12pm
Toora ArtCube, Sagassar Park

We warmly invite you to take a tour of the Toora Primary School and Kindergarten art exhibition before your Mother’s Day lunch plans at the Toora ArtCube, as students proudly show off their artworks in honour of their mothers and their guardians. For the exhibition, the students have created swan cygnets under the guidance of artist, Deborah Read. The swan is a powerful symbol for Mother's Day, representing the balance of gentle nurturing and fierce, protective love.

At 11am we will draw our raffle prize, which includes an artwork by Sue Gilford and donations by Atticus Bookshop & Gallery and The Panton Store (tickets available on the day). We can't wait to see you there!
