Don't miss the Tidal River Open Space walk tomorrow!

The Open Space walks are the prefect package - a chance to connect with nature, enjoy good company and support a great cause.

Where: Vereka / Five Mile carpark for a 9.30am start
When: Sunday May 17, 2026

The Tidal River Open Space team are off to Miller's Landing. This one is a relatively easy walk across mostly flat terrain with one hill at the beginning to get your calves burning :)

We will take in some gorgeous views and head to the beautiful mud flats of Corner Inlet’s mangroves.

A delicious morning tea will be provided. A donation of $5 or more would be greatly valued to support our fundraising.

It is on again this Sunday!

Tidal River Open Space Walk is tomorrow!

We’re off to Lilly Pilly Gully this Sunday 19 April, and it’s shaping up to be a perfect morning for a walk on the Prom (pets face it, every day is the perfect day for a walk on the Prom!)

Join us for a relaxed wander through beautiful bushland, great company, and some fresh coastal air - then morning tea :)

Lilly Pilly Gully Walk in April 2026!

Join us for a beautiful autumn walk through the stunning Lilly Pilly Gully rainforest (90% chance of no rain and 18.... it will be great to get out after the weather this week!)

Where: Lilly Pilly Carpark
Time: 9.30am start
When: Sunday, 19 April 2026

Enjoy a wander with a great group of people through bush and rainforest, with lovely views across to Tidal River along the way.

There’s something for everyone—choose the boardwalk for an easier stroll or take the walking track. If you’re up for the full circuit, there’s a bit of uphill to start, plus the chance to see the impressive regrowth following the 2011 landslide.

As always, if anything changes, we’ll post it right here :) Oh - and there will be morning tea.....

It is worth coming to the Tidal River Open Space walk tomorrow for the cake! We are also heading off to walk the Tidal Overlook Track.

Meet at Cenotaph (near the old education centre) for a 9.30am start tomorrow morning, Sunday, 15 March 2026.

The Overlook Track starts at the new Tidal River bridge, up to the lookout with views of Norman Beach, Squeaky Beach and Tidal River along the way.

We will then head back down to meet for cake, coffee and a chat.

Our next walk is just around the corner - Sunday 15 March 2026.

Due to popular demand, we are heading off to walk the Tidal Overlook Track.

Meet at Cenotaph (near the old education centre) for a 9.30am start Sunday, 15 March 2026.

This is a great little walk; there is a bit of everything. We’ll start by heading across the new Tidal River bridge, then walk up to the lookout with a spectacular view over Tidal River. From there, we’ll make our way back down to the campground and morning tea.

Piller Point was fabulous today- amazing views in every direction! We had a vote and March walk will be the Overlook track. See you then!

And just like that it is February! The TROS team are off to Piller Point this Sunday, 15 February 2026 - join us!

Meet at the old Playground in Tidal River for a 9.30am start.

We are very excited to be back and catchup on the news. Pillar Point promises a bit of everything, a slight climb through bush, and some rock scrambling, then the reward of a stunning view at the top.
It’s a fantastic spot to take in the scenery, then you will be rewarded for your efforts with morning tea back at the campers' shelter.

We will be practising our baking skills for the Foster Show & you can taste it all for a small donation.

Our first Open Space Walk for 2026 is 15 February 2026

The Prom is looking gorgeous - these pics are from the Whisky to Tidal River walk - pop down for a stroll and swim :)
