This play is a forgotten wonder.

Written in 1942 by Australian playwright Max Afford, it is one of the few Australian original plays ever produced on Broadway as well as having seasons in London, yet it has rarely been performed in Australia,. Companies at the time only wanted Australian settings that were written by Australian authors.

Since then, it has fallen through the cracks in the boardwalks of Australian Theatre history and has become a script known to a very few.

Not so much NOW.

ARENA has resurrected this script with it's next Community Theatre Production.
