This is what a small business can look like. Just a mum sitting on the lounge putting together your paint kits with a baby on her lap.
Small business can look like a mum pouring moulds with a toddler running around her demanding playtime, food, water, tv.
Small business can look like a dad who has taken on a second job (the business) and extra responsibility just to be supportive and make the business work.
Small business can look like a lot of different things for a lot of different people. For us it’s a lot of blending.
Our baby is the star of the show at the Sunday markets and our toddler is very good at keeping mummy company while she works. My parter helps out anywhere he can and is there every market after he finishes at his own job. I’m balancing the house, family and business but loving every second of it.
Our baby is my why, our 2 year old is my why and my fiancé is not only my why but my biggest support. We have made a lot of sacrifices but I know they will be worth it.
