We are Niche Dance Studios (formerly East Ivanhoe School of Dance or EISOD), situated in beautiful, brand new, purpose built studios only 3 minutes drive from central Ivanhoe (we are just off Livingstone Street, near Grange Road) at 7 Ford Crescent Thornbury. We offer ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, musical theatre, vocals, contemporary and boys only classes to dancers and performers from the age of 3.

To the mums, grandmas, carers and mother figures in our Niche community, thank you.

Thank you for trusting us with your children, their confidence, their creativity and their growth.

We see the way you encourage them after a hard day, celebrate their wins, and help them keep showing up each week. So much of what makes our studio feel warm, welcoming and connected starts with you.

Today we celebrate all the love, patience and care that helps our dancers thrive, both in and out of the studio.

Sunday was so special!

Our 10, 15 and 20-year dancers came together to share their journeys. The honesty in their speeches touched my heart. They were emotional, raw and incredibly moving.

Hearing them speak about growing up at Niche, the friendships, the challenges, the little moments that shaped them, was a reminder of what these walls have held for so many years.

I’m deeply grateful for every family who has stayed with us through so many seasons, and for the trust you’ve placed in me and my team over the years.

Watching these dancers step into who they are has been one of the great privileges of my life.

Thank you for letting me be part of your story.
