It is with heavy hearts that we inform you that our dear Angela passed away on 6 April 2026.

The pain that we feel is immense and we miss her so much.

The Academy and its Kpop Boot Camp are now a big part of the legacy she leaves. So many friendships, bonds and unforgettable memories were forged because of her. Her passion to connect people. Her passion to share her joy of Kpop. Her passion to support others to aim for success in their dreams and aspirations.

She really put her whole heart into putting together many amazing events and experiences which has helped build confidence and joy in so many youth around the world.

She was our founder, our director, our mentor, our beloved friend.

We miss her dearly.

We’re so sorry to bring you this very sad news.

Our director and founder, Angela, is currently in ICU on life support after suffering a catastrophic brain injury.

Doctors have said that it is unfortunately irreversible and the focus now is turning to keeping her comfortable to give family and friends time to say goodbye.

Though recovery seems unlikely, we are desperately praying for a miracle.

Please pray and wish and hope with us.

During this difficult time, we ask that our followers refrain from asking questions. We will provide updates as necessary.

Hello,

As we enter 2025, we’ve made the difficult decision to put The Academy KPOP Boot Camp on an indefinite hiatus.

This hiatus is a chance for us to have a personal break and also take the time to reset and focus on developing fresh, exciting and new ideas for when we return.

Although there won’t be another bootcamp for the time being, we will still release footage from the 2024 Boot Camp over the next few months - so watch this space! 🛸

We’re so grateful to our supporters, followers, sponsors, partners and (of course) trainees.

Thank you for your love and support throughout this journey so far. Stay tuned for updates, and we’ll see you again when the time is right with a bigger and better programme. 💜

✅ Recruitment period: Until June 30, 2024

✅ Eligibility: Any girl under the age of 15 who loves K-POP, regardless of nationality (born after 2008, under the age of 15 by 2024)

✅ Requested video: Video singing 2 K-POP songs within 5 minutes (1 dance song + 1 ballad song)
A ballad song with a medium tempo is also fine. If you are not Korean, 1 K-POP song with a different tempo + 1 POP song

- Please shoot the video in a bright place where voices do not echo.
- Requirement: Please use MR when singing.
- Please send a total of 2 photos: 1 full-body photo and 1 full-body photo looking straight ahead.

is a global K-pop boy group audition program scheduled to be broadcast in the second half of 2024, following the success of , which resulted in the creation of the global girl group “Unis.”

SBS is one of the three major terrestrial broadcasting stations in Korea, renowned for producing internationally beloved TV shows such as and .

Currently, the team is searching for applicants with various talents and charms, aligning with our goal to create a boy group that will be active in the global music market.

Anyone aged 14 or older (born before 2011), regardless of nationality, whether they are current or former trainees, have debut experience, have participated in other audition programs, or are affiliated with an agency, is eligible for the audition.
