Playing live this Saturday 5 Sept from 8-11pm in the Diggers Bar, the Mark Porter Trio & Peter Wells' repertiore is influenced by the early music that came out of Americas Deep South. With rich vocals, his renditions are raw, played on Acoustic and Dobro slide guitars. Classic blues sounds of New Orleans, Chicago and Memphis, combined with earthy blues originals, with folk overtones, delivered with impressive presence, that's never overstated.
