We have 2 reports kids have been aiming snow balls at other kids ears last night. Please do not do this tonight.

"Instant snow" is typically made of a superabsorbent polymer (sodium polyacrylate) that expands significantly when it comes into contact with water or other liquids. The warm, moist environment of the ear canal will cause it to swell, which can quickly block the canal, damage the eardrum, and make removal difficult without specialized tools.
✅A healthcare professional, such as an Urgent Care physician or an ENT specialist, can safely remove the substance using methods like:
+ Microsuction: Using a small vacuum device to gently remove the material.
+ Specialized Instruments: Using tiny forceps or other tools designed for ear canal foreign object removal.
What NOT To Do
❌Do not use water or any other liquid to flush it out, as this will cause the "snow" to expand further and become more impacted.
❌Do not use cotton swabs, bobby pins, or any other object to try and dig it out, which can push the material deeper and damage the ear canal or eardrum.
❌Do not use home remedies like a warm compress or ear drops, as they are ineffective for this specific type of blockage and may worsen the situation.
