Tenterfield Shire Council will cease operating the Sir Henry Parkes Memorial School of Arts (SHPMSoA) Sunday 30 July 2023. Elected Council, Management and Staff would like to thank volunteers, community and visitors who have contributed to the warm and vibrant culture of the SHPMSoA.

Tenterfield Shire Council recognises the importance of this nationally significant museum and historical asset and is committed to working with the asset owner, the National Trust of Australia (NSW), in the hope for them to re-establish this significant national asset for future generations of Australians.
