A chatty little fellow is the Eastern Yellow Robin. This very sweet bird has a multitude of calls and will often leave me searching for the bird to confirm my ID.

Trying to make sure it's toes didn't get wet? Not sure why this Yellow-tufted Honeyeater chose to stretch to have a drink of water, especially since it had just been happily walking around in it a minute before. Maybe it's a bit like me reaching for something, just beyond my fingertips, when I'm already in bed.......get up to get it? Nah.

Looking for something different to do this weekend? Hunter Birding Tours is a brand new business and is running a Birding in the Vines tour lead by myself. The tour is a two hour photography and bird watching session followed by w**e tasting, at Meera Park w**es, and a delicious platter of local cheeses from the Hunter Valley Cheese Factory
