Hi guys! Due to some families in our community dealing with Covid exposures, isolations, illness, or immunocompromised issues for themselves or family members; we will press pause on our KCDD Family Catch up. We are so looking forward to seeing everyone, but want to make sure we can all get together safely and as many of us are able to be there as possible! Once the chaos settles down, people have recovered, and everyone is feeling a bit more comfortable, we will post with a new date and time to celebrate together 💖

This week would have been our KCDD Dress Rehearsal week. My house would be overrun with costume boxes, props and accessories. My fingers would be burnt and cracked from hot gluing and I’d be getting an average of 4 hours sleep a night between a sandwich of late nights and stress. Who would have thought I could miss being so busy and anxious?! But I truly do. 💖 I am certain many of our beautiful KCDD family feel the same this year, so I am sending you my love 💕 I have danced, performed, choreographed and/or directed in at least 1 (usually multiple!) dance concerts every year for almost 40 years...this is my first year without that end of year performance and culmination of work and creation, and it feels a little empty and sad. My KCDD Showcases were easily my most personal and precious, and certainly the performances I’m most proud of. Thank you for being part of that with me, and helping create something that will be forever imprinted on my heart and interwoven through my soul ✨
