Family is everything. ❤️

In a world that is constantly changing, family remains our greatest strength.

Through the laughter, tears, challenges, and celebrations, we continue to stand by one another.

The love, support, and memories we share are truly priceless. No matter where life takes us, we will always have each other, and for that, I am forever grateful.

These moments, these connections, and these beautiful souls mean more than words can ever express. 🫶

Together we are stronger, together we are family, and together we can overcome anything. 🖤💛❤️

I honestly need to put this out there as its really upsetting!

I have been creating art since I was 16 years old that's over 21 years of experience. To have my ability as an artist and the authenticity of my art questioned is incredibly disappointing.

Art is deeply personal and reflects years of learning, growth, culture, and dedication.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I ask that respect be shown for the journey and hard work that goes into every piece I create.

Story Behind the Painting "Together Through Every Season"

This artwork represents the strength of connection, love, and belonging.

The two black cockatoos sitting closely together on the branch symbolise family, partnership, and the importance of standing side by side through life's journey.

The warm colours of the sunset reflect the changing seasons of life times of happiness, growth, challenges, and healing.

Just as the sun rises and sets each day, our journeys are filled with new beginnings, lessons, and opportunities to grow stronger.

The tree branches represent the pathways we travel, while the leaves symbolise growth, resilience, and the connections we make along the way.

The meeting places and flowing patterns throughout the artwork reflect the bonds between family, community, and Country, reminding us that we are never truly alone.

The black cockatoos are known for their strong family connections and loyalty.

In this piece, they remind us of the comfort found in companionship, the power of support, and the importance of staying connected to those who walk beside us.

This painting celebrates love, unity, and the strength that comes from standing together through every season of life.

🤍🖤My name is Shanane Glass, and I am the proud owner and artist behind Marrung Indigenous Art.

Marrung Indigenous Art was created from my passion for sharing culture, storytelling, and connection through art.

What started as a creative outlet has grown into a business that allows me to express who I am, honour my cultural connections, and create meaningful pieces that resonate with others.

My artwork is inspired by my connection to culture, family, community, Country, and the sea.

Each piece I create tells a story, with symbols and patterns carefully chosen to represent journeys, strength, protection, unity, and belonging.

Through my art, I hope to create connections, start conversations, and share the beauty and significance of Indigenous storytelling.

A special part of my work is my shark totem, which represents strength, resilience, guidance, and protection.

For me, Marrung Indigenous Art is more than a business. It is a way of sharing a part of myself, celebrating culture with pride, and creating artwork that carries meaning beyond what is seen on the surface.

Every piece is created with heart, purpose, and respect, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my journey through my art.

Thank you for supporting Marrung Indigenous Art and being part of this journey with me.👣🖤🤎
