Thankyou everyone 💛
I managed to clear out a lot of stuff this week and I greatly appreciate it.
It felt strange opening as it's been a while and actually next week on the 20th May is the anniversary since that devastating flood last year that changed our lives.
I had sheltered myself a lot and rarely left the building as I can't describe the emotional rollercoaster ride you travel.
Opening this week gave me the courage to face everyone again, so this was so much more than a clearance sale, it got me talking again.
I'm excited to move forward and start my new business direction bringing an entertainment hub, gallery space and live music to Taree.
"Riverside Art and Rhythm" will start a new page soon.
There is still a lot of work to go before I reopen but I will keep you posted on what's happening next and I will soon put a call out to all our creative artists and musicians for bookings to begin.
I want to thank everyone for their support 💛
This beautiful rainbow came out this afternoon, looking over the beautiful Manning River and Martin bridge across the road.
Also: Flame Tree Community MNC NSW is on tomorrow and it is worth the trip with live music, food, produce and markets. I will attach a brochure in the comments

** Fresh New Start Sale **
Nadia's Art Gallery and Gifts has changed directions so I am clearing out everything that is no longer needed.
It will continue to be an art gallery offering exhibition space and it will now also be a function centre and a venue for live music for public or private events and functions.
Everything has been reduced
50% or more off all art and craft supplies.
* I have also cleared out my home/ garage and clothing.
* I have also cleared out my recycle items and they are cleaned and ready for anyone to turn them into art.
The trading hours will be
Mon 11th to Sat 16th May- 9am-2pm everyday.
If you are a musician interested in performing a live gig or an artist wanting to exhibit then please call in and say hi.
I will then close to finish the fit out and reopen under a new business name.

Nadia's Art Gallery and Gifts is changing business direction so I need a new business name.
🏆Everything in the pictures below is the prize for the winning name that gets selected and used for my new business name.
I also need to clear out everything that is no longer needed both in the home as well as work, so I am going to have a fresh new start sale via my front door entry. This sale will go for 6 days starting Monday 11th May until Saturday 16th May, 9am -2pm everyday.
This sale will include art and craft supplies, recycle items, home items, clothing and more.
I need to clear out everything that's not needed anymore

I believe everything happens for a reason and it's time for a new business direction for Nadia's Art Gallery and Gifts.
I have been busy rebuilding my business since that major flood last year on 20th May 2025.
My new business direction is to provide a venue for live music, functions, festivals, entertainment for both public or private events. It will also continue to offer exhibition space and workshops for creative artists.
To begin ..... I need a new business name and I would love to hear your ideas ?
It will continue to be an art gallery offering gallery space and now it will also become a function centre providing a variety of opportunities for live music events ,festivals, entertainment, workshops and more.

I am going to need a fresh new start, so I am clearing out all my Art and Craft supplies.

I've started to work on the Gallery level and Squirrel was excited to help. Lots of patching and painting and it's all coming together.
I've also taken a bit of time out for me to do a bit of art in between work as we all need a balance between work and play.
It's important to take time out to do something we love and enjoy to continue uplifting us and to help feed our souls 💛

Reconstruction has begun. Everything has been designed to withstand as much as possible if any future flooding events were to re occur.
The old shower is out,
new electrical wiring and new plumbing for a second toilet downstairs.
Under the stairs all the holes have been patched and a new paint colour introduced.
Thanks everyone for hanging in there 💛
Lots of changes and it's going to take some time before I reopen, but the wheels are in motion.

Work has begun 🎉
Everything is going to be durable and designed to withstand any possible future flood events if an occurrence may arise, (hopefully not 🙏)
It's so exciting to be moving forward and to see changes starting to happen.
Thank you everyone for being so supportive and encouraging as that is what has helped me to move forward.

This is one of my new colours I am using. It's called Pale Eucalypt and it's a Colorbond colour.
I feel energized and excited now and I want to wish everyone the same energy I'm feeling 😁

Hi all
I thought it was time to post an update.
What an amazing sunny day today so I decided to go for a walk.
This week was the first week I had the strength to spend time in my Art Gallery after the devastating May 2025 major flood
So this week I had the strength to begin, but I started with doing art so I could feel comfortable being back.
I wanted to start by adding colour to my Gallery windows yesterday to bring life and change.
Today I decided to visit the Taree Bicentennial Garden and it was such a magical day.
The snake again visited my path as I have now shed the skin off 2025 the year of the snake 🐍 and I begin my new path moving forward.
So many baby water dragons scurrying by as they hear movement.
I popped out this afternoon and found this baby blue tongue lizard waiting outside my front door.
It was so cute peaking into my Gallery door and trying to get in 🤣 I gave it some corn 🌽 and it was amazing to watch.
I now welcome 2026, the year of the fire horse and also a new beginning and a new cycle.
I have big exciting plans for Nadia's Art Gallery and gifts and I'm happy to say repairs have now begun.
I like to keep a bit of a surprise element so I'm not saying too much.
Excitement ahead !!!
I will reopen my art gallery in stages and I will keep you updated on the progress.
Thankyou for being patient and now there is only one direction and that is moving forward ⏩
