That’s a wrap on Mary Poppins Jr!!
This was, by far, the most challenging production we have ever presented. We pulled this show together in record time, and honestly… we still can’t quite believe we did it.
2 Marys, 2 Janes, 2 Michaels, 54 students, 18 set changes, more props than ever and a whole village of helpers who made it all possible.
Every production requires support from our studio families, but this one was next level. When I realised just how much needed to be done, I reached out to our parents and within no time, a team of 20 had formed. Props, set pieces, flyers, posters, and costumes started arriving left, right, and centre. Even grandparents were being put to work!
This show will forever be a symbol of what can be achieved through the power of teamwork.
To every helper, thank you. We hope you enjoyed the final product and felt proud of what we created together.
To our students, congratulations on four awesome performances. Watching your courage, growth, and professionalism was really cool.
But what I loved most was the way you supported one another, lifting each other up and cheering each other on. That was your energy from the very beginning right through to the end.
While this was a Studio production, our friends at played a huge part. The roles we couldn’t fill with Studio kids were taken on by O’Grady performers, and the roles behind the scenes were carried by both Ben and I.
So my final thank you is to Ben, thank you for your support, your time, and everything you quietly took on behind the scenes.
Another beautiful reminder of the power of teamwork.
Congratulations and thank you to everyone involved. A few more memories made… and plenty more magic to come ⭐️
