Tamworth Musical Society The Tamworth Musical Society is a community theatre organisation that produces two musicals a year!

The Tamworth Musical Society has been providing musical theatre for the people of Tamworth and the surrounding district since 1888. Two major productions are staged each year providing community theatrical experience on stage, in orchestras and behind the scenes for a large number of people. The Society is open to all people who want to have this experience - performers are chosen from auditions f

or each production, whereas all other jobs are open to volunteers. As well as Actors, the Society needs the services of Directors, Musical Directors, Crew, Set Builders and Scenic Artists, Wardrobe, Make Up, Hairdressers, Sound Engineers and assistants, Lighting Designers and operators for the console and follow spots and Front of House staff - sometimes this can add up to 100 people. The wait is over… our full company has officially been revealed! 🎭✨

Tamworth Musical Society are over the moon to be able to share the names of the incredible performers bringing this production to life on stage. But they're not giving away all the secrets just yet… 👀

Over the coming week there’ll be plenty of exciting reveals, favourite characters and maybe even a few surprises along the way.

So while you now know the names of those joining the journey… the big question remains, who’s playing who or what!!?

❤️ That’s a wrap on First Date! ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who helped bring this production to life, our cast, crew, band and production team and of course our wonderful audiences! After eight performances in Tamworth and two in Gunnedah on Saturday, it's time to say goodbye to this hilarious as well as heartfelt production.

This photo captures many of our amazing team after the final performance in Gunnedah. While not everyone could be in the photo, they were certainly with us in spirit and we were thinking of all those who contributed behind the scenes and throughout the season.
