I cannot tell you how special it feels to know this piece went to a new home.

It is such a favourite of mine and sold for a good cause.

This painting was auctioned as part of the fundraiser for the Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Foundation Australia.

I was so inspired by all the businesses who donated, the volunteers and the community support.

As a nurse who lives in a rural community, this one feels is close to my heart ❤️

Talwood Ladies Day is a unique event which raises funds for rural women’s health 🌾👩🏻‍⚕️

It will feature inspirational guest speakers 🎤, shopping 🛍️and an art auction 🖼️

I was so happy to donate again this year.

The art auction will also include beautiful pieces by Soph Jarrold and

Pirates Rugby Club Tamworth have a long tradition of giving back to the community.

Tomorrow they will host Moree Rugby Union Club for four games of rugby and hold a family fun day.

Funds raised will go to the Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Foundation Australia

PMS is a rare genetic disorder with just over 3000 cases worldwide. One of those special cases is little Elsie Trappel, who was diagnosed with PMS in December.

It’s heart warming to see all the wonderful businesses who have donated auction items, raffle prizes, their time and money.

Purtle Plevey Pty LTD will conduct the charity auction which will include this painting.
