What an incredible night 🐢🐴
Honoured to have my work featured at the ‘Everything Is Possible Gala’ for Perry Cross Spinal Research . My turtle sold for $1,888 and my brumby found a new home too, as well as my voucher for a custom 10 x 12 inch pet portrait.

I’m so grateful my work could contribute to such an incredible cause.

Thank you also to the Brumby Strong Photography Project for allowing me to paint from their photo of the beautiful brumby known as Charger who lives free in the Snowy Mountains. This project raises awareness of the challenges and uncertain future of the Snowy Mountain brumbies 🐴

Between Two Worlds

‘Between Two Worlds’ was inspired by the return of sea turtles to Palm Beach on the Gold Coast to lay their eggs. A powerful moment of renewal along a coastline shaped by both nature and human intervention. The composition draws on the Palm Beach artificial reef and skyline captured during reef monitoring.

Excited to learn that my painting will be a part of the Gallery 8 Gold Coast exhibition opening this Saturday in Bundall which is celebrating women artists for International Women’s Day.
The white bison is considered sacred in several Indigenous cultures of North America as it is associated with renewal, balance, hope and symbolises the return of the qualities of the feminine.
This all feels especially appealing during this current time of conflict and uncertainty.

I paint on woodslices that I hang on twine with a matching custom painted and varnished bead or alternatively I can provide a small easel that I paint in a matching colour and varnish 😀
