If you’ve ever sat through a performance review, endured an all-hands meeting that could’ve been an email, or listened to someone say “let’s circle back on that” with a straight face, H.R. The Musical will feel like the comedy intervention you didn’t know you needed.

Happy to say we sold this gorgeous theatre out last night at Gluttony in Adelaide in our Australian premiere season as part of Adelaide Fringe.

Thanks in part go to two parties of more than 20 people! A lovely group from a law firm and another group whom I'm yet to meet.

Grateful to those who organise, whether it’s the one who initiates, buys the tickets, looks after the needs of everyone in the group, and generally makes things happen, or, behind the scenes, the staff at Gluttony and crew at BankSA Theatre, who are keeping cool and keeping us cool in this HEAT!

There's a lot being said here and round the world about the public service. In this rehearsal, we traverse a couple of perspectives.

Our work - riotous musical sketch-comedy - has been described as "close to the bone", "so relevant" and "provocative", and I'll take that over some kind of vanilla alternative any day.

What will happen next in this song? Which other workplace worlds and hearts will we see into?
