It’s trans awareness week and as part of that we wanted to share some snippets from our panel discussion with Orlando Silver, Zev Aviv and Lu Bradshaw

Our post show panel was a such a special space we held with the audience post show and we are grateful to our panellists but also the audience for participating.

There’s no denying it – MONSTROUS is good theatre! You’ve only got 3 more opps to see the show that is
“Monstrously more interesting than almost anything on Sydney's stages at the moment” Sydney Arts Guide

MUST CLOSE SATURDAY
★★★★★

"Underneath the grime and the grotesquerie sits an oddly delicate meditation on longing, vulnerability, and the painful elasticity of the self. The play may traffic in horror, but its beating heart is surprisingly gentle." Theatre Travels

“Although I knew it might be gory, gross and a bit stressful, I didn't anticipate it would also be tender” Incision Press

“This is only my second visit to KXT, but it's quickly becoming one of my favourite Sydney venues... funny, daring, and just a little disgusting, in the best possible way” What's The Show

“So well-managed you hardly notice the floor dropping out from under you” Disrupting Theatre

“MONSTROUS is horribly good” Richard Cotter

Presented by Red Zebra Productions
Written & directed by Lu Bradshaw

We close this Saturday! It’s your last chance to experience MONSTROUS. Ticket link in comments.

“Monstrously more interesting than almost anything on the Sydney’s main stages at the moment…” - Sydney Arts Guide

“fuses horror and the supernatural to conjure a meditation on embodiment…”
- Suzy Goes See

“It takes something incredible to create work that you know others might not understand. There is a lack of compromise in this piece that I admire. There is a weird fearlessness and wonderful hedonism, and for me the authenticity of this work really shines through. I can’t wait to see what they do next.” - Incision Press

“Monstrous is funny, daring, and just a little disgusting, in the best possible way. Beneath its bloody surface beats a strangely tender heart.”
